Selina is a local Ngunnawal woman from Canberra/Yass and have been working in the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community for over 12 years, and have held numerous roles within that time working with our families.
Selina cares for her three godsons and do a variety of volunteer work with the kid’s school to emphasise and promote Aboriginal culture and education.
Selina is passionate about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs and strive for equality, sovereignty and recognition of our skills, culture and contribution to this Country. She is also a strong activist for our young people and preparing our future leaders.
Transport Canberra and City Services – The Transport Canberra and City Services (TCCS) delivers a wide range of services which Canberrans rely on every day. These include collecting recycling and rubbish removal, running public libraries, mowing open space, building and managing our roads, footpaths and cycle paths, operating our public transport system, and maintaining many of Canberra’s lakes and ponds. A number of the ACT Government’s commercial operations are run by TCCS, including ACT NOWaste, Capital Linen Service, Yarralumla Nursery, and the ACT Public Cemeteries Authority. TCCS employs close to 2000 staff working in locations across the ACT.
