2026 community consultation calendar
Our full 2026 community consultation calendar has been released, inviting mob from across the ACT and region to have your say on the issues that matter most.
Community consultations are a safe and welcoming space for community members to yarn, share experiences, raise concerns and identify solutions.
These conversations are about building strong, safe and self-determined futures for our people. What we hear in these sessions directly shapes our advocacy with government and the priorities we take on through the year.
In 2026, consultations will focus on key themes affecting our community:
- 10 March (12–2 pm) – Children and Young People
- 14 April (4–6 pm) – Cultural Integrity & Housing
- 19 May (12–2 pm) – Inclusive Community Justice
- 16 June (4–6 pm) – Health and Wellbeing
- 14 July (12–2 pm) – Hearings Consultation
- 18 August (4–6 pm) – Life Long Learning
- 15 September (12–2 pm) – Community Leadership and Connecting
- 20 October (4–6 pm) – Economic Participation
- 17 November (12–2 pm) – Hearing Findings
Each session will run for 2 hours. You’re welcome to attend for all or part of the time.
Light refreshments will be provided.
We encourage all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members in the ACT to mark these dates in your calendar and join us throughout 2026.
