Community update – Boomanulla Oval
The Elected Body has responded to the ACT Government’s proposal for a Community Advisory Committee to guide the future of Boomanulla Oval.
We have agreed in principle, but reminded Government that Boomanulla Oval is much more than just a sporting facility. It is a place of cultural and community significance for our people, and its management must reflect that.
We have asked to meet soon with Government to discuss how the expression of interest process will work, so that the community can have a strong voice in shaping the Committee and making sure it reflects our values and aspirations.
