New ATSIEB Chair and Deputy Chair announced
The ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elected Body (ATSIEB) has today announced the appointment of Mr Maurice Walker as Chair of the Body, and Mr Bradley Bell as Deputy Chair.
Mr Walker brings a wealth of experience in representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the ACT to his role as Chair.
‘My focus will be to bring the ATSIEB back to the ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community,’ Mr Walker said.
‘I am proud to have this opportunity to lead ATSIEB during a term that will be of critical importance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the ACT.’
