The ACT Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elected Body is pleased to welcome Tucky Tania Cooley as our newest member.
Tucky is a proud Aboriginal woman with strong cultural connections to Yuin and Wiradjuri Country. Her lifetime of cultural knowledge, community leadership and commitment to strengthening Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in NSW makes a powerful addition to our work in the ACT.
Through communication and ensuring community voices are heard, Tucky looks forward to helping build stronger connections between the Elected Body and the people it represents. She also wants to advocate for greater transparency and stronger community-led structures that support self-determination.
