The Elected Body walks for ‘Yes’

We were proud to join in community support for the ‘Yes’ campaign alongside Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Senator the Hon Katy Gallagher, ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr, Independent Senator David Pocock, local members of the Legislative Assembly and members of the community.

The group put aside political alignment to support a Voice to Parliament and better outcomes for First Nations people. The event in Woden kicked off the launch of the ‘Yes’ campaign across Australia and was a chance to unite the community and celebrate this moment.

We look forward to walking for ‘Yes’ on Sunday 17 September in Canberra and hope you’ll bring your family and friends to join us from 11am, leaving from the National Library of Australia.
